Chirality Fall collection ~ Nails from the Crypt!

I was so excited when Chirality contacted me and asked if I would review their new Fall line of Horror inspired polishes! I stayed up late last night putting the finishing touches on this review just for you, dear readers. Onward to the good stuff!

This review is picture heavy - if you would like to just view the images connected with this post please feel free to check out my Pinterest Blog image board. The polishes in this review were sent to me in exchange for my honest and thorough review. Now let's dive right in!

I want to start with my favorite, I got a rock. Poor Charlie B, that kid can't ever catch a break. If only he had gotten this rock in his bag! A dark, purple leaning brown/grey with holo sparkles throughout, Rock is not boring. In fact I don't think I have seen or tried another grey with scattered holo come to think of it. I love how easily the holo catches light with this polish. Application was smooth and dried fast, which is always a pleasure! Below is 3 coats with a layer of HK girl Fast Drying Topcoat.

"I don't understand it. I went trick or treating and all I got was a bag full of rocks!"

(S)creme Queen is a rich burgundy jelly, the color of venous blood. What better way to pay tribute to those doomed ladies of the screen? Application is awesome, with very little streakiness on the first two layers - always a plus when it comes to jellies. What you see in my pictures is 4 layers - 3 would have been fine but I like to really make sure, as the flash reveals any thinner areas. I also really LOVE this polish with a matte top coat - pic. bottom right!

"We all go mad a little sometimes. Haven't you?"

Cropsy is a glitter topper filled in a yellow jelly base, with all sorts of shapes and styles of red and yellow glitter. I used it over Devil's night, and I think they went together well! What I love about toppers with so many different sizes and shapes is how deep and interesting it looks on the nail! Application was pretty easy, I suggest dabbing on a coat then lightly brushing to distribute the goods. It also looks GREAT with a matte topcoat! Funny how a polish can make me want to watch a movie - I think I will have to see the inspiration behind this!

"...he's out there.Watching, waiting.Don't look; he'll see you. Don't move; he'll hear you. Don't breathe; you're dead!"

Thank goodness this polish does not have the effects of it's namesake, because I want to wear it often! Purple cream filled with tiny gold flecks, you realize once you apply this pretty that it dries matte! Three coats is enough for full opaqueness, and it dries really fast. I also used my HK topcoat to show how it looks glossy - either way this is a great polish!

" What you're supposed to do, you're supposed to EAT IT, that's all; you eat it and eat as much of it as you can and you KEEP eating it!"

Devil's night is a brown cream with blue shimmery specks scattered inside. I want to be honest and say this is not my favorite color - or color combo - but despite that this polish is still well constructed and applies well. I just don't dig brown on the nail! If you are okay with it though, this might be one to check out. The blue specks really bring something different to the equation, and it looks great matte.
"Devil's Night is upon us again!"
