Carpe Noctem cosmetics has taken one of her gorgeous duochromes, "Interstellar Towel", and added the perfect amount of holo. Say hello to "Don't Panic!"
As I always say, the only thing that can make duochrome better is holo! Don't Panic is metallic grey with a pink and green shift in low light, with holo appearing in direct light. There really is no reason to have anxiety about this polish, as application is smooth and easy. Pictured here is two coats with no undies. I did use a fast dry topcoat to make sure it was super glossy for pictures, with no dulling of holo. I think the awesome Hitchhiker's Guide label is amazing, too - Brings back afternoons curled up with the book from years ago!
I want to give Interstellar Towel some love too - it may not be holo but it is gorgeous, with green to pink shifting across a beautiful grey surface. While it is similar to OPI "Love, Peace and OPI" and Essie "For the Twill of It", it's certainly not the exact same! I think IT has a darker grey base, and takes less layers for opacity!
Emily wanted me to let customers know she will be discontinuing minis at a date yet to be announced. From now on she will be offering mediums (7mL) at 5$ and larges (15mL) at 10$. She hopes to phase over to new bottles by the new year - on to new and greater things! You can also pick up limited numbers of her polish releases from the last restock during the current one going on at her shop on Etsy - where you can pick up Interstellar Towel AND Don't panic right now. You can also preorder the Holiday Collection!
